Sailor-7 yo 16.1 OTTB gelding
Sailor is a fantastic partner. Super easy going, go with the flow. Pretty mover with a dynamic canter. Knows all the Parelli games and is a super fast learner. Very centered. Rides english or western. Is registered and lip tatooed (Pyrite Dan) but did not come with papers. Sailor is healthy and sound with no known injuries. He has very good ground manners and is doing great under saddle with no vices. He has attended 3 Parelli clinics with me this spring thus far and will attended our 4th this week with Lauren Barwick. He will make a fantastic low level dressage horse. Does good zone 5 driving, backs off tail, rides well off seat/leg, LOVES water and is good in all three gates. Started carrot stick riding and doing great, jumps barrels, etc. I have been looking and no holes to be found in this nice young prospect. Price neg. to good Parelli partner and home. $3250.00
Tori, AMHR registered TTE Torin is a 13 year old well built 14.3 hand buckskin. He is super smart and loves people. LBE with upper medium spirit level he is looking for an owner and home who has more time resource and skill advancement to meet this guy where he is and take him to extraordinary heights. Tori is very talented: Smart, athletic, charismatic, energetic, alert, and a fantastic partner however he is alittle too much of the above for his current owner to be able to fully utilize with her current skill set and time restrictions. She is looking for a good home for Tori, who will give him more time and consistency then she can offer him and who can begin to use him to his potential. I think Tori would make a sensational levels horse. He is a proud and confident horse just looking for guidance. He has natural self carriage and is always looking to meet people at the gait. LOVES being played with! Tori rides halter leadrope bareback or full tack, is good for farrier, bathes, vacuums, cross ties, clips, trailers, etc. Pics and videos are current. Tori had all winter off and this is with minimal ride/work this spring/summer. She is asking 6000.00 for Tori with possible neg. to the right home. He is currently located in Stillwater, MN. Delivery may be available.

Sweet Leah 12 yo 15 hand Draft Cross mare
This is a big pretty mare with a heart of gold. She was kept as a personal horse to use for friends and family who didn't ride often to be able to playday with me on, however she spends most of her time wondering why she doesn't get more attention, which she loves. So she is being offered to a good home who can give her personalized attention, a better workout program, and who wants to enjoy what she has to offer. Leah is broke to ride and has driven. She has natural horsemanship training and would make a great playday levels horse (Parelli) She is a very centered RBI with a low spirit level. She is super easy to catch, no vices, good with farrier and vet. Nice smooth gaits w/t/c. She has been loafing in pasture much of the past 3.5 years. Great feet, never foundered. Video pulled from pasture and ridden. She is a special mare and selling her will be hard, but I know she has a better someone who can love and play with her more then I can. I would love to see this sweet sweet mare find her special someone who can make her their special someone, too.

She is well broke and will ride off your seat and guides well if you know how to ride with them, and will plow rein if you don't. Neck or direct rein. Rides halter leadrope bareback or string on the neck as well as full tack. Cross ties, ties, desensitized. Smooth gaits. Blaze is sound however does have mild heaves so looking for a relatively easy lifestyle home where she will can have a nice pasture in the summer time and clean hay in the winter time. She will do best in rough board (not stalled). She is not on any medications. She is currently in a small lot without access to pasture and owner is motivated to sell her to assure her nicer housing and pasture that will not be available to her there. Her previous owners used her for trail and camp riding. She has sat most of the fall/winter. Videos show her with only a handful of riding/refresher sessions. . Blaze does occasionally shy from a rope, etc. the ground in front of her. I think this is a simple training issue but will occasionally get weary of something on the ground in front of her. The desensitizing video is her second time with the tarp, and you can see that she is kind and tries hard, so not a difficult horse but for this reason, a timid beginner is likely not her best match without additional brush up riding however a confident beginner with some support or intermediate rider should be fine. She did sit for a number of years prior to her current owner purchasing her as well so she should only get better with additional use.
Blaze is going to be leased and doing residency work and horse handling/riding lessons with Vet students at the University of Minnesota, U of M.
Big Red AQHA 16 yo Big Sorrel Gelding
Meet Big Red. He is a solid and stout, muscular 16 yo Registered AQHA Gelding. Red has spent much of his life as a trail horse in the Iowa Bluffs and has been hauled and trail ridden extensively to multiple states. He has also been an exceptional grand-childrens horse teaching 3 young boys to ride. Red has a huge heart and big soft eyes. He is easy to catch, likes people, and smooth to ride. Trail rides out alone exceptionally. We have been pulling kids around in sleds behind Red and he is steady and honest. Looking for a low key lifestyle full of hugs and kisses.
Congrats Mary Jane and Bill on your purchase of Big Red. You will love him. Best wishes with him. He is a sweet boy.
Placed: Congratulations to Sarah and Arron of Northern Michigan. We wish you many great teaching years with Shortcake and your little ones. Thank You and we hope you enjoy her. She is a good girl.
Strawberry Shortcake is a beautiful red roan 14 hand mare. She is a grade 22 yo. Very well trained and has been kids horse. She has a very nice jog trot and will neck or direct rein. Rides saddle or bareback, halter/leadrope or snaffle bit. Is well desensitized, good with kids, dogs, chickens, llama/alpaca, 4wheelers, etc. Shortcake is looking for a life long home where she can be a quiet leadline or lesson horse, preferably walk trot as she likes to go slow and easy and is walk trot sound. Would like to place shortcake with an experienced and kind/loving family home. She is current on shots, worming, and has had her teeth power floated.
Rooster is a good hearted little horse with allot to offer. He is kind and gentle and was used by previous owner as a play-day horse for a variety of her children. Rooster recently competed 60 days refresher training and does exceptional with Natural Horsemanship. He has an amazing little Jog Trot and slow and smooth pleasure lope. He would make an excellent 4H horse for a teen rider or step up horse/pony for an advancing youth with some riding guidance at home. Rooster is a fun horse to work with and will make someone really happy. Could also be a light adult riders trail horse as he is calm and willing and has such easy to sit gaits and is an absolute natural on the trail. Has been ridden by a number of beginners/intermediate riders on trail rides. Very traffic safe, crosses water, and will lead or follow. Has been started to be hauled for fun rides and settles in nicely. Nice little gelding that gets better with every ride. Hercules, coming 3 yo (July 2014) Draft/AQHA Cross
Hercules is straight and strong. Dam was reg. Percheron sire reg. AQHA. Confident and calm in new situations/environments. Big Mover, very forward and reaches nicely. Smart and easy to train with. Circles (lunges), leads, loads, ties, hauls, cold bathes, started ground driving, yields front and hind quarters, desensitizing well. Will be saddle training soon. Price will reflect saddle training. Good Dressage prospect. A nice young colt looking for a dressage home that can take him to his potential.
Placed: Thank you to Michele and Maddie of Maryland for your purchase of Hercules. I think you will be very happy with him and he seems to have taken to you as well. I am excited for your futures together!
Flicka, 8 yo grade QH/QH Cross mare
Flicka is a nice sized, shorter yet solid and stocky mare. She is gentle and willing. Starting refresher course with Natural Horsemanship and is a smoother moving mare that has allot to offer. Very bright and willing without being hot or overly reactive. Has excellent join up and has the makings to be an exceptional partner. Neat colored- black with slight white markings and slight roaning throughout. Vet verified 8 yo mare.
UPDATE: Flicka joined me in a 4 day cow working clinic with 5 * Parelli instructor Dave Ellis and Jody Grimm and did fantastic. She has allot of cow and presence and showed allot of talent and athleticism.
Placed: Thank You Shirley of Algoma WI for your purchase of Flicka. I am excited to see what she can do for you in Ranch Work Versatility and continuing her Parelli Levels. Best Wishes to you and my sweet girl Flicka. She was an absolute trooper this week for me at the clinic : )
SG Power House, '92 APHA gelding
Hank, 22 year old reg. APHA Gelding. I had the privilege of working/playing with Hank in 2009. He was sold and became a 14 yo beginner riders first horse. She is in collage now and I took Hank on again to help him find another home/partner or family to enjoy. Hank is a good natured boy. Was a fabulous trail horse for me in '09 and helped the young rider he stayed with have confidence on trails. He was to have previously done some cow work, but to what extent I don't know. Was also ridden out west on a several week long hunting tip with previous owners. He does have a few blemishes that come with some work and age, but is solid built, in excellent weight and health, fresh off a power float, and trim, and sound. He is easy to catch, stands excellent for tacking, and rides as well bareback halter/leadrope as he does full tack. Not a deadhead and is a stocky boy, so timid beginners likely not his best match, however intermediate or confident beginner with good help/support should do well with him.
Placed: Thank You to friend Lori Z, owner Carol Williams, and Carol's daughter Lisa H, for this wonderful network and Home! Best wishes with Hank Williams, Carol. We wish you a wonderful 10-15 yrs with him like your last boy and Blue Ribbons in Walk Trot, : ) Hope to see you guys sometime in Ohio.
Smokie Senior (25+/-) pony gelding
Smokie is a sweet and gentle senior rescue gelding. He has had a number of inexperienced horse owners in his recent past but shows allot of knowledge and training and it is evident that someone took good care of this little pony at one time. He is broke to ride but I am hoping to find him a low key home with pony rides/lead line occasionally as opposed to regular working that he should be able to retire from. He is sound and walks, trots, lopes free and easy at pasture at will however does have one larger front knee, likely a degree arthritis but has not shown issue, even in the cold. He is good with kids, dogs, cars, traffic, and has been pastured with cattle in the past. Been ridden by my 5 yo nephew. Just had his teeth power floated and has good teeth with none missing. No need for special mash, just good quality feed. Current on farrier work (stood like a champ), 5 way, and worming.
Good Home 1st Priority-Price Neg. Offered to Approved Home Only.
Soon to be Placed: Thank You Cathy of Brule, WI for offering a forever retirement home for Smokie. He is a nice pony that deserves the easy life. See you when pastures dry and green : ) Thanks Sarona
Gypsy 9 yo Grey Quarter/Paint mare
Gypsy is a gentle mare with a big eye and heart. 14.1 1/2 hands. Was started out with good horsemanship and ridden to age 4. Is starting out again now and shows amazing ability. Nice little jog trot and cute lope with nice head set. Could make a nice open show horse and has the personality and nature to make good all round/family horse. Gypsy seems to truly enjoy trail rides and is quiet and confident riding alone. Trail and traffic safe. Stands patiently and comes home at same speed as leaving out. Nice young mare yet with a big future. Gorgeous build and color to boot.
PLACED: Thank you Pat of Harvard, IL for your purchase of Gypsy. I hope your Parelli trainer likes her and that she makes you as many wonderful memories as Precious did.
Char, Registered '94 Vanishing Grey App mare
Char is a registered Vanishing Roan. She has been ridden by beginner riders in the past and was previously a 4H horse and has done many trail rides, including being a trail mount on large scale commercial trail business. Char has mainly been a 'get on and go trail horse' and she seems good with it however is a great youth horse as well as she loves kids and is safe and compliant. She will go where you ask and has a big extended trot as well as a jog that is coming along nicely.
Char will be staying with us as Leahs trail mare : )

Fancy Lenas Magic '08 APHA Breeding Stock Buckskin mare
Gentle mare with allot of try. Was trail ridden extensively by previous owner including many state trails. Loves people. Classy solid buckskin mare that could do open shows or continue as a quiet trail partner. Very nice and easy smooth lope. Is riding full tack and bareback halter leadrope. Aveda has had an excellent foundation and is very eager to learn. She has the mentality of a much more mature horse and unlimited ability. Neck reins well, is working off leg pressure, yields hind and front quarters and is soft mouthed and sided without being too responsive.

Sweetheart of a colt. Will be Big. A July 2013 baby but shows allot of structure and height. (Full 4 months younger then his big sister!) Has been gelded and is friendly and social. Hauled excellent for vet, in both slant load step up and 2 horse straight/ramp. Very smart colt that follows his sister around but you can see individual sparkle in him, just needs a chance to shine.
