I believe 100% in Natural Horsemanship - Its teachings, the communication and understanding that is found with it in both horse and human, and the respect and appreciation that is gained through it, in my opinion, is second to none.
My goal is to find (or help with training/lessons keep) good horses with and to good homes- and I don't know of a horse that would not want or benefit from a Natural Horsemanship home. I also believe the answer to many of our horse problems is not in the horse but in our inability to understand or communicate with them.
I know that good intentions do not always amount to good outcomes. I also know that I am overjoyed when one of my horses finds a good Natural horsemanship home because I know that he or she will be set up for life- They will not be tossed aside when their newness rubs off or when they prove they (like us) are not perfect and they will not be traded in for 'grass that my look greener' on the other side. They will be presented with things in ways where they are allowed to be set up for success, not failure by a the handler that will have the knowledge to be a supportive and affectionate leader in the new partnership. With Natural Horsemanship experience or knowledge they will also have a network and resources already available to them should they and their new partner ever need them. My horses are all started out with Natural Horsemanship so transitioning into a home that does Natural Horsemanship assures their best success.
10% discount on purchase price or training/lesson services
I will give a Qualified Natural Horsemanship home a 10% discount off the full purchase price of any of my horses available.
I will also give 10% off lessons/guidance for the first year after purchase to anyone else interested in bettering their knowledge, understanding, and success with their new partner.
I am happy to do this as I think the best way to help the most horses is to help the most horses find the best fit homes. That, and to help the most homes learn the most about horses. Both are possible through Natural Horsemanship.
